Mi Pueblo Restaurant: Reviews & Ratings

I was in the area visiting family and they recommended this restaurant. We were seated very quickly, the waitress was very peasant (I wish I could remember her name) I tried the Ceviche Tostada and it was amazing. The food all around was good. Definitely plan to visit again when I'm in the area.

First off, the negative. We were sat in the back left area and the ceiling fan is just low a recessed light which in the evening time makes the table area have a flicker like being under a strobe light. It was super annoying but they were packed so asking for another table was not a choice. I have no idea why they don't fix this problem. Second, the salsa tasted ok but was loaded with onions. I have never seen this many onions (small chopped up ones) in a salsa at a restaurant before. It's way too much and overpowers the natural flavor of traditional blended salsa. With half the onions it would probably be excellent. The positives. This place is popping! Food was overall good and service was fine. Nothing negative or super positive to say about these so it was average which in today's world is above average lol. I might would eat here again. I have no strong overall feelings either way about the place.

Saturday, 14 June 20205 @ around 1:45pm, first time here, just out doing some shopping and decided to check this Mexican restaurant out. Food was good, not the best I ever had, but ok. We had Sour Cream Enchiladas and Ground Beef enchiladas. Food came out FAST and super HOT. Took most of it to-go! All the waiters were very friendly. We would definitely return. Gracias!

Absolutely love this place. Love the people and the food is beyond amazing and it's really authentic! Not your typical Mexican chain restaurant. They've done a total makeover now, it's absolutely beautiful providing more space for us customers to come and relax while we enjoy their tasty delicious foods

This was our second time at the restaurant and it was during an early lunch time, so not so busy. The host and our waitress were very friendly and the service was great. We hadn’t done a review the first time, but for our second time dining in we can say the food was just as delicious as the first time. The food was great that it reminded me of my mama’s home cooked Mexican food. and the stove hot salsa is to die for. MMmmmm!!! Will definitely stop by a lot more. Loved everything about the restaurant.

We have eaten Mexican food all over Bell county and Mi Pueblo is by far the best. We love the new building. The staff has always been amazing to us and we feel like family.

Overall, everything is delicious with large portions! Service was friendly but not as fast since it was busy. Free salsa and chips. 2 types of salsa - a mild warm/blended salsa that tasted kind of like tomato soup and a spicy cold/chunky salsa. I really loved the spicy salsa! The menudo soup wasn't really for me since I don't like tripe but the soup itself was pretty good. If you like tripe, I would recommend it. The carne asada was tender and well seasoned with fresh guacamole and pico de gallo. Love the cactus! Would come back again!

Came for breakfast. Had a little bit of everything. I could tell by the color of the menudo was going to be good. What I didn’t expect was the smokey flavor from the meat. Different I will say. Delicious and tender! Everything was great. They were a little busy when we arrived so service needed some time to adjust to volume. Food had no delay despite the rush.
